As most of you know I am Sara. I grew up in Bartlet, IL and moved around a bit and now I am here in Elgin with Joe. I am a hairstylist who has retired and I am now in school and have decided to study horticulture (I enjoy nature and want to help improve what I can by planting plants). I love plants and experimenting with them. I also love to cook and I am always trying something new (thank goodness Joe isn’t a picky eater).

Hi, I’m Joe. I was born in Laramie, Wyoming. When I turned 8 I moved to Hoffman Estates where life would tumble on. I now share a lovely home with Sara. Since I’ve met Sara things have been working out pretty great. I have finally settled into a web design / development career after many years of trying to figure out what I want to do. I was a motion graphic designer and wanted to do something with film or television before, but now that was so long ago it seems like another life.

I’m doing this whole wedding thing because some years ago I had a dream of what the perfect woman for me would be: someone who gets my sense of humor and makes me laugh, someone who is smart, someone who can make interesting conversation, someone who has a lot of passion and drive, and someone who is my best friend. Sara was all that before I’d even met her, and so much more. She keeps giving me more to fall in love with everyday.
